Ugh, I'm hating predicting Streaming more and more each week. There's no source to ask It's annoying that Spotify stopped updating its numbers, they were very useful, praying for them to come back this week I'm tired of thinking about a random number of what I think it's more possible. Plus, Streaming really determinates some spots, they're very close to each other

Style and FFS are actually holding at the same positions according to your projections, not swapping spots. I'm with you on the lack of Spotify and Vevo transparency.

Usually your predictions are spot-on, but I highly doubt #BBHMM is missing the top 20, let alone 15.

will this count? 24 hours is 1440 minutes. uptown funk has 4,30 mintes so its ~336 plays.

I got BBHMM in there at #18, but I have TMTC dropping all the way out of the Top 20, which I know is wrong. I have to figure out how to get both songs in there, because I really don't have any songs I can take out. I might have to remove TYT, stick TMTC back in at #20, or even swap it with TB at #19. I could lower BBHMM to #19 too, because I do think it'll make the lower end of the Top 20, but not a lot more yet.

Highwind44029 has a better understanding of that policy than me. I assume M5 could release another remix, but neither Soundscan nor Billboard would count it. I guess it's to keep artists from flooding digital download websites with endless versions of the same song in an obvious attempt to try and "cheat the system" into getting a combined #1 from five or six versions of a song with mediocre sales.

That's why I said if Sugar is seen as too much of a threat Ronson/Mars's camp will release the Uptown Funk remix on I Tunes and Spotify with a discount. They've been holding the Trinidad remix back, which is being played at Urban and now at many Rhythmic stations, for a time when they need it for UF to stay on top. If they see Sugar getting too close this week, then expect the Uptown Funk Trinidad remix to hit Spotify and I Tunes, with all versions of UF getting discounted to 69 cents. Otherwise, they'll probably wait until the 16th and 17th weeks at #1. As mentioned above, M5 can't issue another remix, as they exhausted that option a few weeks ago.

The all time record for any main Top 100 Chart is 17 weeks, which was set by a song back in 1947. I listed the name and artist on this thread last night.

So even if UF can tie OSD's 16 week run at #1, it still has one more week to tie the all time record, and two more weeks to break it.
