With Taylor, the video where the E! reporter was apparently said that she'd go home with a lot of guys tonight (Grammys '15), the longer video shows her correcting herself about how she's mature now (which implied that she didn't used to be).

The way she reacted showed that she looked pissed that she said something she shouldn't have said and it comes across to me that her entire nice-girl image is manufactured.

Gaga's friends came up with "Gaga" and they've been calling her like that before she signed, but ok She started working on Dance Pop also before she signed, and when she went to the meeting She already had the LOOKS and the MUSIC, hence why she immediately got signed. Next time you may want to do some research

Britney and this is a fact. Manufactured is something not real, lacking talent and substance in areas that do matter but making it up elsewhere.

Beyonce and Taylor are not manufactured as their talents are real. Beyonce CAN dance. Beyonce CAN sing. Taylor CAN write. Taylor CAN play instruments. Taylor DOES sing her own vocals live without lip syncing.

I see people's biases are clouding their judgment but what else is new. And tbh, Beyonce is primarily an R&B artist, while Taylor just became Pop. I don't know how either of their names are submitted anyways.

Simon literally forces them into the studio every 6 months, makes them plop out an album, announces another stadium tour and repeats. They have a shelf life and are the definition of label manufacturing. Right from the beginning of their career on X Factor when they were 5 separate solo artists that Simon picked one by one to be in the group.

Yes by means of their contract and brand (merchandise/marketing) they are manufactured, however they never actually followed a generic boyband stereotype and are not contrived in the sense of their personalities and music (post Up All Night era).

Nah, I don't have to research anything, specially an artist I don't care for.
Her name was manufactured, her look was manufactured. She was tailored only for
shock value. Her Costumes & not to mention her antics. Yes, the girl has talent, but she's still manufactured.
