Kinda disappointed at her completely leaving Country though. Country is the reason she got popular and people became fan of her. But oh well, as long as her songwriting is still amazing, I guess I don't mind.

This...is.....so bad that it's good. I was expecting Taylor to serve us her "I feel Like A Woman" but we got "Talk Dirty" meets "Hey Mickey". It's catchy, but things start and end there. I feel like this will hurt her album wise (for her standards) too. Country fans got her to a million albums in a week, not pop. I'd be lying if I said I still wasn't excited for the album though.

I think country fans will punish her the same they punished LeAnn Rimes for going pop and she never revived her career after that.

I'd love to see Taylor go that route with one of her albums!
or perhaps a revised country-fied version of 1989, like Come On Over except a US Version instead of International.
Let's let her get this out of her system, and then hope she goes to a mature sound for her next album. I guess this is just something she needs to do.
I wouldn't be surprised if she did 1989 (and maybe one more super pop album) and then did a crazy 180 sonically.
I really love SIO, I just hope the whole album isn't this lyrically simple. Her improvements on the best album cuts from Fearless to Speak Now to Red were amazing, and I hope that trend continues.
