It's the same as how I Gotta Feeling was on David Guetta's album, or how Turn Me On was on Nicki's album, or how Dirty Picture was on Ke$ha's album, or how Break It Off was on Rihanna's album, or how Baby Boy was on Sean Paul's album, or how Swagga Like Us was on T.I's album. It happens all the time for a song to appear on two artist's albums (usually as a bonus track on the featured artist's album), I don't think it's anything to worry about if it's on Ariana's album, even if it's Jessie J's single.

The delusion here though, her first album Who You Are sold 3m WW, more than any album by Nicki or Ariana. Price Tag and Domino were WW and US hits, her second album wasn't promoted or released there.

They all on the same level of popularity.

I'm pretty sure that picture was just made for the announcement of the single, and all those pictures of them aren't new. For example Ariana's picture was taken on the set of her music video for Break Free.
