What you say its true, but still has more value if a person purchases your track in 2014. In 2015 the game will totally be about streams and youtube views probably.

Sure it's currently a bit more important to have sales, but let's not forget that she did pass the industry hallmark for a sales hit (Platinum). In addition, she represents a transitional figure in an industry that has a sixteen percent sales drop just this year, and just so far this year. It's really not important that her hit wasn't fueled as strongly by sales.

I do think Beyonce is the biggest music star in the world currently. I mean, just put Beyonce together with any other random popgirl and its safe to say, she would make this person look like an amateur. She did so with Alicia Keys when they performed together and she would do it with any other gurl. Her stardom goes far beyond anything and what makes Beyonce the biggest star in the world is that she is not just about hitsingles, but most importantly about skills. No one can touch her when it comes to performing skills + shes pushing the boundaries with new ways of promoting things like for instance with her surprise-drop or the hbo-thing right now. Deal with it guys, as successfull as RiRi and Katy and all the others are, put them next to Beyonce and they look like amateurs.
