But I haven't ever had a boyfriend. Never really had an interest in doing so until a few months ago, really. I guess I'm afraid to branch out and try new things.  The one time I actually tried to get someone, it backfired  I don't think I want to try it again

I've only ever kissed people when I was drunk and I'm almost 22 
There haven't been many guys around for 6 years and the very few that are, take the less self-conscious girls.

I just wanted to tell you all unloved souls that it gets better.
I'm bi, 20 years old and never had a girlfriend or boyfriend, ever. I even made up stories about me having dates and stuff just to fit in with my friends. When I found out about my sexuality I actually didn't care anymore about having a girlfriend or boyfriend and I kinda enjoyed being single. I wasn't desperate about it, I just lived my life, however, never dating, no sex, no kisses, nothing of that kind. But: Never desperate. I always witnessed my friends being REALLY desperate about being in a relationship with someone, well, it never worked out, obviously.
But then, four months ago I met someone new on Facebook (lol) and we got to know each other more, he told me a lot about himself and his personal problems, I wanted to help him to be happy again (because I can't understand why people never learn to be happy in this world, life is so amazing and every second is worth living) so we spent a lot of time together and eventually we both fell in love. Now we're together which has been amazing so far.
The point I'm trying to make is that someone will come into your life and it will work out when it's destined to be. Don't be desperate about being in a relationship or having sex or kissing or dating or whatever, don't be desperate about ANYTHING. There will always come along people who want to take advantage of your desperate state of mind. Don't let them. Be happy. Live life. and soon but unexpectedly someone is wanting to live life with you.

I'M PART OF THE NBSB AND I'M PROUD OF IT.
I really wanted a boyfriend before and I used to think that I didn't have one because I was ugly or with no self confidence (and I actually was it before 18, in that moment I hadn't kissed anyone for example)
but then things changed dramtically, after that I had a lot of crush, I have a lot of sexual experience, however always something happened and got nothing serious. Right now i'm not anymore desesperate for that, sometimes I want to have a boyfriend, someone who I like and likes me for a long time, but I don't want to push things happen and when I really like someone as boyfriend material I think I will know it.
It does not make sense have a lot of different boyfriends in a month tho.
