⚫ One of the most promising newcomers this 2013 is UK band Bastille! They conquered the charts with their infectious songs and the album did well in the Top 10 too! Fusing electronic synthpop with alternative rock is indeed an interesting hybrid of genre but they have proven that they can make it work, make it worth listenable to the extent of eargasm with them vocals!

⚫ This group of talented young ladies impressed me very well during their X-factor days and definitely one of my bets to win! After their journey on that competition, they provided us music through youtube covers but at last they gave us this material as a taste for their sound and future musical endeavors! With cute bops and it's vocally impressive, but the material is generic at best! Don't mind it though, this EP slays me well enough!

⚫ Among the new tracks off her Greatest Hits collection, this was the best and hearing the vocals and production at first I immediately thought this would be a chart slayer and a potential #1 for the original idol! But yet, it kinda stalled and did moderately on the charts. Nevertheless, it still gives me life on how perfect and powerful the vocals by Kelly on this one! It gets very generic at times though through constant listening but for me, I only play it once in a while! Music video wise, concept was cute, but I wanted it to be more artistic

⚫ After appearing on the artists list at #30 this year, Charli XCX makes her only placing for the best singles. This song is very hypnotizing courtesy of that dizzy beat in all throughout the song. But her vocals makes up the song for me! It is very controlled and intricate but the chorus is very catchy and personally, I love the "ha ha ha" part most  The video is stimulating! Loved the choice of colors, the setting and the pacing! The close up and beauty shots of Charli are outstanding1

⚫ Definitely one of my most anticipated songs this year especially on the first quarter! Mariah delivered ULTIMATE GREATNESS on this divine track! and the Stargate production makes it very radio friendly! Vocally, it is flawless! and the bridge part is just where LIFE is  As for the music video, well as a soundtrack song, the movie scenes are interspersed all throughout the vid, but the REAL HIGHLIGHT is Mariah sheding tears and feeling the true emotion of the song  and her making diva moments as usual with her hands, serving face, as the wind faps through her hair!
