Unbelievers Vampire Weekend Peak: 21 Weeks on chart: 8 2012: Try - P!nk This was the first new Vampire Weekend song we've heard since Contra I believe? I must admit this song isn't impressive, but a good song nonetheless.

I Need Your Love (feat. Ellie Goulding) Calvin Harris Peak: 9 Weeks on chart: 12 2012: So Good - B.o.B Gosh I think I really do drag my songs a lot, cuz I'm about to sort of drag this song. Compared to other Calvin productions this era, this is really weak. But I think what makes me like this song is Ellie's appearance in it. And the video gets me so confused, did they actually date? Or is that all just for fun (which is weird cuz isn't it weird for 2 artists to be smooching and doing stuff like that for fun?).

Ryan Tedder) - Gym Class Heroes What a coincidence, this year OneRepublic takes this position while Ryan Tedder was featured on a song that took this position last year. Well I'm glad this song is smashing so hard right now. Why is it when their era seems like it's gonna die without any hits, out comes a single that unexpectedly becomes one?

Slow Down Selena Gomez Peak: 8 Weeks on chart: 14 2012: Settle Down - No Doubt Well, it's a really catchy, perfectly crafted pop song production-wise, and that's about it. I just use it for the bops.

Harlem New Politics Peak: 2 Weeks on chart: 8 2012: Always Summer - Yellowcard Well I don't really know much about these guys, but this is such an insanely catchy song that has nothing to do with the annoying mess that went viral earlier this year. I get annoyed by the blonde hair guy though, he's so shaggy.

Counting Stars! I have a love-hate relationship with that song! I loved the song... then it bored me... then I hated it!!... then I loved it again right now is amazing!
Harlem is so good! + Slow Down, I love Selena + The Cataracs so this is perfect for me.
I love to drag my songs too lol. "I need Your Love".... when I first heard the album I was like... "what is this ultra-mega-generic piece of trash? "Really hated that song for a long time, but then the music video came out... and it grew on me! It's so cute lol and no, they are not dating, it was just "for fun" and for the music video Calvin is Rita Ora's boyfriend (sadly, can't stand her Ellie would have been a better girlfriend ).
