I'm not throwing shade or anything, her album did amazing, I know that, but I'm just trying to be realistic, she clearly doesn't want to have another 4 era, it's not weird, everyone needs that smash hit that can keep their name on the radio and create more buzz for them for a year or more, that's called longevity.

Again, the difference between a bonus and the focus.
Her focus was to surprise release an album, a BODY of work, that was a visual experience. Obviously, if she was looking for hits, she wouldn't have released all those videos that people have been forced to buy for a week, as videos are part of promoting singles. But she did it anyway because the visual experience was far more important to her than single success.
Now that she's released her visual album and it was successful, of course she's going to release singles. She'll probably do some performances and appearances down the line. If they do well, well that's just another bonus! If they don't, then it's fine because that was never her focus with this album/era. She won't be losing any sleep because she already succeeded in what she set out to do.

at some of you trying to drag Bey. we knew from the start that her singles would struggle bcz the videos are all out at once. but that's fine. The entire point of singles is to sell the album, and the album is selling phenomenally. Even if he doesn't get a BB top 10 this era, the era will be a HUGE success. A few major performances at award shows will keep the album selling strong throughout the year.
