5/19/2007 Z100's ZooTopia 2007 Review!
Omg, I loved it! It was great! Lineup:
♥Gym Class Heroes:
-Performed Cupid's Chokehold, The Queen & I, and Clothes Off!
-Best Song: They were ALL so good!
-Better than I'd Thought They'd Be?: Yes! THEY ROCKED, MAYBE BEST IN SHOW.
-Weird things I didn't expect: Travis McCoy (The lead singer/rapper) was actually a REALLY talented rapper.
♥Hinder:
-Performed Get Stoned, Better Than Me, and Lips of an Angel
-Best song: Lips of an Angel
-Better than I thought they'd be?: I guess, they were.. ok.
-Weird things: The guys voice is scratchy and someone near us screamed 'I LOVE YOU EVEN THOUGH YOU SCARE ME' and I laughed. Also, when he said 'Well we're from Oklahoma City and we're glad to be in New York' (which they actually are), EVERYONE laughed so hard.
♥Omarion (with special guest Bow Wow!!!):
-Performed Entourage, Ice Box, and Let Me Hold You (w/ Bow Wow)
-Best Song: Let Me Hold You (it was really just Bow Wow)
-Danced also to Buy U A Drank, and Bounce (originally by Timbaland feat. Dr. Dre, Justin Timberlake and Missy Elliot)
-Better than I thought he'd be?: Yeah, because I thought he'd be bad.
-Weird things: GOOD DANCER. Least applause (giggle)
♥Katherine McPhee
-Performed Love Story, Over It, and Open Toes
-Better than I Thought?: YEAH, THAT GIRL CAN SANG.
-Best Song: Open Toes
-Weird things: She was wearing these really high heeled open toed shoes while performing! Ouch.
♥Rihanna
-Performed Pon De Replay, SOS, Unfaithful, Shut Up & Drive and Umbrella
-Better than I Thought?: OMG SHE WAS GREAT AND BEAUTIFUL.
-Best Song: Umbrella
-Weird Things: EVERYONE was singing along to Umbrella, maybe one of the most sung along to songs in the show. She was also wearing a really high skirt, and we got to hear Shut Up & Drive!
♥Dashboard Confessional
-Performed Vindicated, Don't Wait, Stolen, and Screaming Infidelities
-Best Song: Stolen or Vindicated
-Better than I Thought?: OMG, they were GREAT!!!!!
-Weird Things: I think they were one of the 3 most loved people at it -- I didn't know people liked them too much, but I <3'd it.
♥Hilary Duff
-Performed Play With Fire, Stranger, Come Clean, Dignity, With Love
-Best song: Play With Fire
Better than I thought?: Yeah!!!
-Weird things: She has a really squeaky voice, unless she just had a sore throat, or was tired. Play With Fire was her best performance, there was FIRE! coming out, in like big booms of it.
♥Robin Thicke
-Performed Lost Without U and Happy B-Day(to a z100 'ZJ')
-Best Song: Lost Without You
-Better Than I Thought?: Really good
-Weird Things: It was my bday, so I was happy when he was singing that. Oh and he was on the other stage.
♥Maroon 5
-Performed Harder To Breathe, Sunday Morning, Makes Me Wonder, She Will Be Loved, and This Love
-Best Song: She Will Be Loved
-Better than I Thought?: YEAH
-Weird facts: Adam's voice is kind of weird, but cool. Everyone sang along to She Will Be Loved and This Love
♥Fergie
-Performed Here I Come, Glamorous, London Bridge, Big Girls Don't Cry, and Fergalicious
-Best Song: Liked them all!
-Better than I thought?: YES.
-Weird facts: Her voice is really high and not raunchy at all.
♥Daughtry
-Performed What I Want, It's Not Over, Home, and Gone
-Best Song: What I Want or Home
-Better than I Thought? : yaa.
-Weird Facts: None really.
The artists were in that order. Some girl from Laguna Beach was there too. The preshow had the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus & Audioclub. I'll try to get pics.
Wow this show could get some people jealous : Mazen for Fergie Ferg, Mr. Duff for Hilary, Travis for Daughtry... lol

You know, I was there too. My sisters ended up winning about 8 tickets to go there so they figured to give one to me. By the way, can I please have a bad comment about any one of them lol? My opinion a little different than yours. On the positive side, Hinder who you thought was the worst, I thought was probably second best. Now on the larger negative side:
Hilary Duff sucks and still sucks after that performance.
Katherine Mcphee didn't really keep me interested. Boring.
Fergie was not so good either.
Didn't care too much for Gym Class Heroes.
Omarion doesn't deserve a comment.
However, I'll admit (and this is a rare admission) that Rihanna was really good and that was my biggest surprise of the night. Also loved Daughtry, Maroon 5 (best of the night) and Dashboard Confessional.
I was also at the preshow and the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and even Audio Club were pretty good.
Therefore it gets a 7/13 but all in all it was a great night for a concert I was only going to because my sister gave me one of the tickets she won only 3 hours before we left.

As someone who is 13 and smarter than some :fonzo: people on this site, I have taken up a temporary oath (the past few minutes) to be come a scientist, and diagnose Kevin with the condition he has.
