But LaKisha was amazing this past week, the best of the night. So she may actually outlast Blake if she continues to do as good.

His voice is nasal and annoying, and I think we already have one Justin Timberlake, why do we need two?

I've downloaded a lot of the studio versions and Chris' versions did not really stand out compared to the others. I think he's a great performer, but I don't know... maybe it's the songs? His "Don't Speak" version was just attrocious (is that how you spell it? LOL). Along with "Smooth." The only good one I thought was "Don't Get Around Much Anymore."

Blake's recorded versions were all fantastic! Especially "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Time of the Season." .. .... And "Love Song." .. ..... and "I Need to Know." lol



Anyway, this is gonna be the first season that I can say that whoever wins (minus Lakisha), I would be happy with. Although I do prefer Blake for the win. But it doesn't matter. He's obviously going to be huge regardless.

Why do people overpraise Blake sooo much? His vocals are weak. The only thing going for him are decent vocals, argueably "good looks," and marketability with the hip-hop vibe and good personality he seems to have. = /

Tru Tru, but I figured this competition was a bit better than that, usually voting the powerhouse vocals to the finals (well except the disaster last year in Taylor Hicks).

I think choosing someone for their originality and their decent voice is better than voting for the powerhouse(s) of the season (the other three left). Who cares if we're overpraising Blake? We're not hurting anybody.

^It's a singing competition. Not who can be the most original. Blake has a fair voice, but people are voting him based on his looks and appeal, rather than his voice. W/E, that's just how the show is now. Who says anything about hurt? = /

It's a singing competition but it's not about who's the best technical singer.. it's about finding the singer who is most liked by the viewers

Blake barely has any vocal range but I could listen to his voice all day. In the end that's what's most important, not who can hit the highest notes or hold them the longest. I don't think he's overrated or overpraised, he makes great music and that's what matters.
