Well..that's all a matter of opinion but we all know if he had made something more memorable and melodic it would have exceeded the success of Headlines, gotten to maybe Take Care level.
Something like 'Free Spirit' would have been perfect.
yeah, personal opinion aside it's doing the job of a lead single pretty well. it's killing it on urban radio (which can only help his album first-week sales imo), and hes now in a great position to do what he always does by dropping a more pop-orientated single next and slay
ikr when after it'd been out for a few days and it was stalled at #12 on itunes i was like "meh ah well not bad, not his best song so this is really good all things considered", but now its gone top 10 on the hot 100 so quickly lmao
