When your discography and success is as big as gagas one flop single, 5th single none the less, isn't going to end your career. Even rihannas most succesful eras had flop singles. Xtinas and beys last lead single flopped and they're still around. Britneys entire career is full of flop singles and she's still around. Every major pop girl has had flop singles.

like i said in another thread, she's doing well and is still relevant, just not in the sense everyone wants/thinks.

sure she doesn't go to every awards show she's nominated in, or topping the charts, but her tour is selling out almost every date, her perfume i has everyone talking, and she's covering the BIGGEST issue of Vogue EVER.

It's one relatively small awards show that no one actually gives two ****s about, I doubt the majority of the public even know of its meer existence. Gaga has set the bar so high that people expect her to win at everything. That's both flattering and annoying.

She's not fading from pop culture, and the choice to ignore You and I and Marry the Night was for the best.

Here she is outselling everybody else's tour - bar the reigning Queen of Pop - and people still choose to discredit her. Whether you got fed up with her message, antics, and less than stellar doesn't mean she's done for. The same people will be saying the opposite soon enough
