The lowdown: Inspired by her love for jazz singer Monica Zetterlund, who covered this traditional Swedish folk song on 1964's Waltz for Debby, Robyn recorded her own version after producer Klas Åhlund bought Zetterlund's original microphone for use in the making of Body Talk Pt. 1. Telling the story of "a rose so fair and white as lily petals," it served as the closing track for that EP, but was not included on the Body Talk compilation.
The vote: Blame the hauntingly sparse instrumental or the lyric sung entirely in Swedish, but "Jag vet en dejlig Rosa" is an unsurprising early victim in this rate. Still, it found a large contingent of fans; 17 voters scored it a 7 or above.
Best moment: the a cappella first note of Robyn's creepy-beautiful vocal performance
