I love it, it's great! They do it that exact way in the books, too, and the thing is, they haven't really shown it on screen, but Dany can speak Valyrian, she's just pretending to need Missandei to translate. So she's hearing him say all this **** and having to keep smiling and playing nice.

yeah, you don't get much of that internal dialogue that the book gives all the characters. Catelyn is the character in the book that kind of introduces the reader to the religion of the Seven in her chapters. Of course the religion aspect gets bigger as the books go along. I think the series does a good job with all the mystical and magical stuff. Like, all this crazy stuff is happening Beyond the Wall. But in the Seven Kingdoms it's pretty normal. It makes you wonder who are the real gods and who really has that power? Are the gods even there and just ignoring all this suffering? Like faith in real life.
