I just don't see anything from 'Born This Way' as enjoyable as her previous music. Sure, Gaga is way ahead of any artist in terms of musical progression and overall sound with this record, but I think that is one of the factors which limits her success this era. She tried to step it up and push her musicality way too far, and it backfired on her. Sometimes simplicity is more. Less is more. I think she is trying to do way too much at once. This current record jumped ahead in such a short space of time. The musical progression should of been a gradual change.

And MTN isn't different than any other upbeat GaGa single. She does that stuttering like she has done on most of her upbeat hit songs.

This. I don't think the song is that hard to understand. It has the same theme as all of her other songs this era. It's about being yourself, preserving their problems and in general surviving as the way you are. It's not that hard of a song to understand or sympathize with. All of these excuses about the album being too deep to understand or decipher is pure ******** in my opinion. MTN had everything going for it and it still performed badly. It's as simple as that.

People are acting like the bitch can't make it to 500k Her singles may not be smashing every record, but who cares? Aside from Adele, Gaga is probably the biggest force in music right now. Regardless of her missing the top 20, a feat Rihanna and Katy managed to do eras ago.

She was seen as crazy and different with her outfits which is what so many people found interesting and liked about her at first but this era she just took it to another level and all the weird **** she does has really gotten 'old' and become so try hard.
