I think this is a PR move with hopes that if they frame this as a psychiatric emergency, all the dumb sh*t hes done and said in recent times will be shelved as events all leading up to his eventual "mental breakdown" therefore hopefully gaining public sympathy and the ability to regain his credibility.

Kanye has been suffering for a long time. I wish people would stop thinking when they see one person dealing with their mental illness perfectly fine that every other person with a mental illness will be just like that one person they saw.

And then it all starts to make sense when you realize that this is the month his mother passed away and this was the week he buried her. I don't think he ever got over it and just bottled it up.

I like Kanye a lot and hope he finally gets the help he needs and he and his new family find peace.
