Without the help of Simon Cowell, Wednesday night's Idol episode snagged nearly 25 million viewers — up 2% over last year's equivalent-night Wednesday-night!

With new judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez joining Randy Jackson this season, Idol is gaining back it's ratings magic.

Wednesday's episode was up 1 million viewers from last week's Wednesday episode — and won the night in all key demos.



ASTONISHING numbers, wow a show that has been on the air for 10 years still pulling over 24 million viewers weekly and people thought this season would fail....
