Yeah, I think this is more accurate.
However, I have the opposite opinion. I thought FFXII was amazing (the best battle system) and while I haven't played the XIII sequels yet, XIII is in my top 5 FF games. Loved the battle system and the story. It wasn't as confusingly complex as XII but was still rich and so expertly plotted with all the flashbacks revealing just a bit of info at a time. It's right up there with VII and VIII for me.

There are many game studios that you could call sexist and sjws choose Square of all of them? The last major installment in this franchise focused COMPLETELY on a female lead and there were THREE of them. Not to mention we're talking about the studio who made a sequel to one of their biggest titles with ALL female characters based completely around them and their backstory (FFX-2). If there's any japanese studio that actually makes a conscious effort for equal representation it would be Square. They make one new game where they decide to use an all male cast and suddenly everyone is up in arms and calling for their utter destruction. Give me a break. 
This is Japan's only hope for the revival of the home console!
