5 pages is pretty good. Technically the thread with most replies would be the winner but other things will factor in: subtraction for warnings/getting closed, subtraction if you're half the replies, or if the topic is too safe.
Remember that getting the best thread is only worth 3 points. There's still 13 more points to earn between friends, posts, and the titles. The people voting on the titles will be watching you across the forum so being active is probably a good step.
