Sitting pretty at #47 is newcomer Owl City. Adam Young debuts in the music scene with his US-number one hit, "Fireflies". I fell in love with the song upon hearing it. It sounds light and relaxing. The song was also a huge radio hit here in the Philippines. Hope to see more Owl City next year.

Kris Allen, "Live Like We're Dying"
Album: Kris Allen
Release Date: September 21, 2009
Days on Chart: 33 Days
Peak Position: 01[1]
Favorite Line: "Gotta tell 'em that we love 'em while we got the chance to say"
Making his second appearance in the Top 100 is American Idol 8 champion, Kris Allen. I've always been a Kris Allen fan and I'm looking forward to his post-Idol works. His first effort was a cover of a The Script original and as expected, he didn't fail to bring good music. The message of the song is great plus his vocals were amazing. Ergo, Kris >>>> Adam.

Alicia Keys, "Doesn't Mean Anything"

Peak Position: 01[4]
Favorite Line: "I'd rather be a poor woman livin' on the street with no food to eat"
After her worldwide #1 hit "No One" way back 2007, Alicia Keys returns to the music scene this year with her pop/soul hit "Doesn't Mean Anything". Alicia has always been a favorite of mine. This time, she never fails to impress me with her good and soothing music. Her follow-up single, "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart" is also doing well on my daily c/d.
