The movie is perfect! I can't just believe how the critics are comparing this to twilight(aka the worst saga of all time) just because there are werewolves and vampires in the movie, it was so awesome and the story-line was great! It's also not boring, we had a pretty much sufficient number of laughs in the theater. It was definitely a really great movie!

Why are yall dragging Twilight? There are just as many reviews comparing it to Harry Potter too.
The movie probably wouldn't have even been made if it wasn't for Twilight's success. Comparisons are going to happen.

But HP was critical acclaimed!!!! look at the RT rates and compared with the Twilight ones! No way!!! The Twilight reference it's doing damages, not the HP one.

The last instalment of HP got a 96% on RT.... it's crazy... never gonna happen with Others youg-adults adactations..expect maybe Hunger Games.

But the HP comparisons have been negative too. They are saying the movie is trying to be too much like HP. Both comparisons are doing damage. Blaming twilight for it being panned is pointless because there are multiple reasons why its probably being panned.

As long as we as fans enjoy and support the movie, it shouldnt matter tbh.

I won't be seeing it until 7.

And because Twilight left a stigma on the YA movie scene. Now every movie that's geared towards teens and has a supernatural element will be and has been compared to twilight.( BC, WB, COB) People going into review the movie are already thinking "ugh, not another wannabe twilight." And that bias they already have affects their reviews. That's my issue.

Not knocking Twilight, that's just how I see it.

Twilight is the only reason the YA movie scene is relevant right now.

LOL how can any comparison to HP be a compliment when they are dragging it for filth by calling it a shittier version of HP? The same thing happened to the Percy Jackson movies and they both flopped.

Its just funny to me how people think TMI is somehow above Twilight when it probably won't have the same success or cultural impact that Twilight did.

Oh well. I really hope this movie does well. I'm gonna see it in a hour. Can't wait!

Well...to be fair Twilight was aiming for a major teen adience, while TMI it's trying to look even at the 20+ and male people (you know, action...ect ect).

They're not really comparable imo. Yes, there's the romance, but it's an Urban fantasy.

It's not a fact of cultural impact, or grossing. If something gross more, it doesn't mean it's better!!! Maybe people see TMI above of Twilight, because they think that TMI it's the better book. It's not a question of sales, or cultural impact beetween teens, in that I think Twilight wins hands down.
