Bailee Madison was interviewed by Fanhattan about her upcoming movie projects, her life and, of course, OUAT. She talks about what’s it’s like being on the show, her upcoming appearance and Jennifer Morrison.

Fanhattan: What do you watch on television?
Bailee Madison: I love Once Upon a Time. I’m obsessed with that show and I got to play young Snow White on it for one episode. Then they brought me back. I got to go back and do another episode for the second season which I’m ecstatic about, really, really excited. I watch that and Food Network. My mom and I love to sit down and watch movies.
Fanhattan: So you’re young Ginnifer Goodwin? When do you go back for that?
Bailee Madison: I don’t know when it’s releasing but I already filmed it. I just got back from it. It’s early on in the season and I’m really excited to be a part of it. It is great to get to go back there and put in my contacts and see the cast. Everyone works so hard and the crew is so lovely so it was fun. I love the show and I just about fainted when they said I could come back.
Fanhattan: That must be back in the old fairy tale days because you wouldn’t be in the present day as young Snow.
Bailee Madison: No, no, it wouldn’t. It’s all fairy tale.
Fanhattan: What do you love about the sets and costumes on that show?
Bailee Madison: Eduardo [Castro] is such a fantastic costume designer. All of them are and I just love how they’re able to, with everyone’s costume and with the set, able to totally transform you with the power that they have. For me just to be able to walk on there and see the green screen and put on that dress again, and I was in the trailer talking to them and I was like, “Do you guys realize how much you transform a character?” They really do. They have a huge part in it and their crew is fantastic so it was a blast. I love the show.
Fanhattan: Do you get to meet Jennifer Morrison when you do those episodes?
Bailee Madison: We definitely ran into each other. The last time I was pulling up after my day of work and I walked out and she was there. I was like, “Jennifer!” And she hugged me. She really is just so wonderful, so kind to me. She was like, “I hope we get a scene together.” I was like, “Me too. I’m writing ideas, I promise.” To be able to work with her would be an honor. I love her work, I love what she does. I worked with Jennifer Morrison on House. I remember the first time I pulled up there I was like, “You think she’ll remember me?” And she stuck her head out of her trailer and she said, “Bailee, do you remember me?” I was like, “You remembered me! Yes, I do!” So it was fun. I love Jennifer.

ABC’s ‘Once Upon a Time’ promises more fairy-tale fun

‘Once Upon a Time” looks to break the sophomore curse.
You know the jinx — a show has an astounding freshman year and then stumbles. See: “Twin Peaks,” “Heroes” and “The Killing.”
But the ABC fantasy-drama, the No. 1 new show last year, has enough spell-binding twists in store to captivate old and new viewers alike when it returns for its second season Sept. 30.
So promises series co-creator, executive producer and writer Edward Kitsis in an exclusive interview with the Boston Herald.
In the season finale, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) finally shattered the curse over Storybrooke, Maine, cast by the Evil Queen/Regina (Lana Parrilla).
Now she will be rocked to realize her parents actually are Prince Charming/David (Josh Dallas) and Snow White/Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin).
“Emma has searched her whole life for her parents, and this is not the scenario she ever counted on,” Kitsis said.
Complicating matters, every villager now remembers both their Enchanted Forest lives and the 28 years they’ve spent in the time-locked Maine village.
The Mad Hatter (Sebastian Stan) will return, and Belle (Emilie de Ravin) has bumped up to series regular, so expect more complications for Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle), who found a way to restore magic, in some form, to the town.
Also appearing this season: Aurora, better known as Sleeping Beauty and played by Sarah- Bolger (“The Tudors”), Mulan and Lancelot of King Arthur’s tales. “We’re putting more- toys in the sandbox,” Kitsis said.
One thing viewers will know for certain by the end of the season: the identity of Henry’s (Jared Gilmore) father. “Last year, Emma told Henry the false story of his father. This year, we’ll get the real story.”
Is it someone we’ve already met? Will he have ties to the Enchanted Forest? Kitsis would not say.
Fans still lament the death of Sheriff Graham/the Huntsman (Jamie Dornan).
“He was always designed to die in episode seven. We feared at first that we wouldn’t have enough episodes for people to get attached to him. Boy, did they care.”
He added, “I would say there is definitely a chance he will return. He may be dead in the present, but he’s alive in flashbacks, and we would love to see him this season, all schedules permitting.”
As for Regina, how evil is she?
As Kitsis notes, she helped save Henry’s life when she knew it could mean the end of her curse.
“For the first time, the Evil Queen made the right choice,” he said. “Is she on the path of redemption and does she want to be redeemed? Like most of the characters, she’s looking for love and she has trouble finding it.”
In episode two, viewers will learn how she met Rumpelstiltskin and how she learned magic.
As for the show’s popularity, Kitsis said, “One of our goals is to do a summer movie every week. We want viewers to feel as if they’re being transported to another world. Another thing is, our show is not for cynics. It is for believers, and the underlying message is hope.
“So often in pop culture, cynicism in cool, but this show is about hope.”
Don't expect to see Mulan in a pretty getup when we first meet Disney's warrior princess in Once Upon a Time's September 30 premiere. She'll be armored up and battle-ready.
"I go on a journey with Prince Phillip to find his princess, Aurora," teases Mulan's portrayer, Jamie Chung (Sucker Punch). "There's this evil spirit that's moving and my character ends up bonding with Sleeping Beauty. And as you've heard, Captain Hook is joining us."
So might sword overpower hook? "Definitely," says Chung, who mastered her sword-wielding skills on ABC Family's Samurai Girl. "If you compare the size and length of my sword to his hook, who do you think has the longer reach?"
Photographer Autumn De Wilde is shooting the Once Upon A Time cast for the season 2 promotional pictures. We have confirmation that Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Jared Gilmore, Meghan Ory, Robert Carlyle and Emilie de Ravin were on set for the photoshoot.
Jared Gilmore’s sister Taylor posted a picture with Emilie de Ravin on her Instagram. As you can see, Emilie is wearing her iconic gold dress.
