Nicki Minaj makes history for being the first artist with 3 songs on Top Ten at the same time.
Nicki Minaj is the first artist to have 3 songs in the Top Ten of the tally at the same time! with the debut of "Starships" at #10 (the issue having this achievement will be published Sunday).
Along the just-debuted "Starships" is "Turn Me On" which doesn't move this week, though having an increase in points.
"Give Me All Your Luvin'" (where she sings along Madonna and M.I.A.) is fighting this week over the #01 spot once again against Kelly Clarkson; In case of reaching #01 this would be the first time for Minaj (and of course, her songmates) reaching the top on ATRL.
In the past 2 other artists (besides Minaj) had more than 1 song on Top Ten at the same time:
In the
first issue ever made of the Chart, Rihanna started her race with "We Found Love" at #05 and "You da One" at #08; both of these songs have shared the Top Ten more than one week; (though this week "We Found Love" returns to Top Ten while "You da One" plummets out of it).
The other artist with 2 songs in Top Ten at the same time is ADELE with "Set Fire to the Rain" and "Someone Like You" (once again in the 1st issue ever published) at #07 and #09.
The war between Kelly Clarkson vs Madonna, Nicki Minaj & M.I.A continues
In a really surprising way "Give Me All Your Luvin'" received more exposure in ATRL Countdowns, giving her power to stay in the battle for the #01 spot.
Kelly Clarkson has been on #01 for 5 weeks on a row, which makes her the artist with more weeks on #01 in the history of the just born tally.
Let's find out who will be #01 on next issue.
Other artists that are battling for a position on Top 10 are Katy Perry with her latest single "Part of Me", Chris Brown's "Turn Up the Music"
