Yes, there is a tweet about it. This was when she assumed that if she didn't have the charts on her side she would at least have the critics supporting her.

I agree w/ Gaga's core message, namely that critics ought to know what they are critiquing (which currently is not the case.

I want a pop expert to critique pop - a rock expert to critique rock and so on and so forth. I don't want a latte drinking trustfund indie-freak hipster putz from Manhatten (where 70% of Metacritc publications are headquartered) and a cranky old Beatle-nut employed by London based newspaper (the other 30% of Metacritic) lecturing me on or every music genre form old school pop to the latest EDM. If you are a critic you better be a practical expert, not just in music, but in the exact genre and industry that you are critiquing.

Well if she wants to play that game, Madonna criticized her in the past and other POP legends as well, most of them badly and ofc the monsters declare all of them as irrelevant, bla bla.

She needs to stop. I mean I see her fans are even going away from her. Why can't she accept that the GP doesn't like this album and that her opinion on her own work doesn't change a thing.

I mean, I remember when MDNA was released and the bandwagon hate and the sig's calling it a Flop, the Media criticizing Madonna... and I don't remember Madonna ever being that pushy, desperate for people to like her work.

Guess that's what makes a difference between The Queen Of Pop Madonna and another pop star of few years.

I sadly see even a greater downhill in Gaga's career.

The music on Artpop is great and vibrant but her overly sensitive attitude and newfound hobby to defend any tiny attack is making this era so negative and boring. Where's the fun I usually get with a Lady Gaga era?
