Does Kanye have to approve of the music before she can release it? Remember Kanye probably signed a contract to be the executive producer, he probably has more control over the record then we think. However like Rihanna said they both have busy schedules, for 'R8' to be finished they both need to be in the studio at the same time.. and with Kanye working on his album, spending time with his family, and other things.. So therefore I think this year is ruled out.. and we should all expect it in 2016.
What I don't get though is that Rihanna tweeted back in 2014 that 'R8' would be coming 'real soon', she also did that interview for V magazine where she talked about the album, and the interludes from it. Then Jimmy Kimmel when she said the album was done, and she wants to release it ASAP back in March 2014. I 100% think something was scrapped.
