116K is far better than than the 100k originally predicted.

I agree. With all of the potential singles on the album, I'm SURE it'll have great legs. Now that "Unfaithful" is getting airplay (and tons of it), you can expect this album to continue selling well. And once the tentative 3rd single, "Break It Off" w/ Sean Paul, is relased, you can expect AGLM to blow up lol.

'Break it Off' is the 3rd single? <333 She so needs to release 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love', that's like my favorite on her album.

Rihanna's first album debuted at #10 with 60k, so I'd say this one did really well.

I am not quite sure wut you meant, but to me, with all this hype surrounding this album, I was expecting something more along the lines of 150,000 copies sold in the first week.

Rihanna didn't too bad. Especially since it's so soon since her last cd. I could see this album performing similarly to PCD and JoJo.
Very VERY nice for Taking Back Sunday. I hope Thursday does big next week too.
Hits Predictions for next week:
Tool - 600k
Pearl Jam - 200k

The Pussycat Dolls Dolls performed accordingly, as their singles picked up, but as for JoJo, that was pure luck. To Unique, "S.O.S. (Rescue Me)" should be near the top of next week's Billboard...that was all the advertisement she should have needed.

At least people are buying CDs...
Pretty good figures for the top 5 LPs.
And most of the artists, who make an appearance / performance on american idol like Bocelli, will see a big boost in sales

Toni braxton's "libra" debuted at #4 with 114,593 copies and ZERO promotion .Look at where she is now. . I just hope this time that jewel won't follow her steps.
But just wait when thursday come .It's RHCP's day!

Well, Libra was certified gold (even though it didn't sell that much), hopefully Jewel can at least reach that =\
And RHCP will kill

"Libra" was a great album and I don't even give two craps for Toni Braxton (well now I've opened by ears to her a bit more)."Please","Trippin","Take This Ring","What's Good","Finally","Stupid", and "Midnite" were all single-worthy tracks. Too bad Blackground sucks ass...
