If Victory is dead, I'm NOT watching second season. I thought it would all end after the finale. Boy am I wrong. I was kinda pissed that they milk another season but now I'm kinda excited for season 2
I actually thought they were going to stick the whole "different cast for each season" thing. I was expecting things to wrap up and we move on to another Revenge story, because I tend to lose interest when shows go into the whole big conspiracy theory concept coming from a simple concept. Hopefully the story will still be good for the next season as it was for the first.

In the final moments of the "Revenge" Season 1 finale, Nolan (Gabriel Mann) uncovered evidence proving that Emily's (Emily VanCamp) mother was still alive, though Emily had believed her to be dead for most of her life.
Looks like Emily will find her mom in Season 2, because executive producers have just cast Jennifer Jason Leigh in the role that TVLine describes as "sinister." Word is that Emily's mother has all the dark, scary parts of Emily -- and none of the logical, human parts.
Yes, apparently, Leigh is now old enough to play the mother of an adult woman. We don't know where the time went, either. Though best known for her film work, Leigh has recently made waves on "Weeds" as Jill Price-Gray.
Creator Mike Kelley told TVLine that Emily's mother suffers from some serious mental issues. "So we're going to need somebody that can play volatile and dangerous; all of the scariest parts of Emily's personality are going to be present and apparent and a little bit out of control in her mother," he said. "But at the same time, what works so great for Emily is that sweet façade, so this woman needs to feel like she's got potential for kindness. You look at her and you don't know that she's as damaged as she is inside. But you'll quickly learn that this is a very dangerous person."
