My thoughts on the upcoming album:
(i) I hope it's a November release so she can take advantage of holiday sales, as well as a break. No more singles from BTW.
(ii) It will be very hard to top BTW, so my expectations are not very high for now.
(iii) While it will probably be a 4th quarter release, it seems so close and is making me very excited after having waited for so long with BTW.
(iv) I want the album to be similar to BTW (maybe slightly more commercial). If she does something like TF, I'm done with her.
(v) I want a rock-influenced album. More than BTW.
(vi) She should keep the current producers (I want RedOne's contribution to be higher than on BTW, though), as well as work with new ones.
(vii) The average track length should be around 3.30. As much as I love BTW, it eventually gets tiring.

I just remembered, isn't the Grammy deadline in September? I guess she'll have to release right before that so as to have a chance to get 4 consecutive AOTY noms.

I feel conflicted.

We had so long to get used to The Fame, and I did. The Fame Monster only had eight tracks, and all of them grew on me quickly (with Speechless being the last). Born This Way...I am really just getting into some tracks and a new album is coming!

But I am all for new music. I love new music from Gaga always! I just hope the timing is perfect. I know most of you are done with the era because of its singles, but I still love BTW. A new album would be like dating two men at once

Meh, I'm sure I'll get excited when album details become clearer.

I'm still in love with Born This Way, but I'd love some new music anyway. I have never found there to be too much Gaga in the world

Besides, the sooner she releases, she sooner she can prove to everyone that she isn't an artist with a damaged image. She just needs to release the right music to do that.

Im gonna be completely honest here.. I think MTN doing as it did was a very good thing. As now Gaga can hype her new album coming out this year.. I'm ready for the fun Gaga.. Enjoyed the speechfull Gaga.. And tbqh.. I think we're getting the first single earlier than we think

I think the reason that we might not get new BTW singles is due to the 'new' album.

She'll probably release an entire album the week after Madonna's (or the same week).
