The Guardian and Pitchfork are also Britney stans then
And like I've said before. Critics call Gaga the queen of pop. It's truth
Critics call beyonce the performer of our generation. It's truth
Critics call Rihanna the best dressed woman in the entertainment. It's truth
Critics call Blackout the most influencial pop album of the last 10 years. It's clearly a Britney stan who wrote it.
Make up y'all mind my beatiful ATRLers
The difference is, when Rolling Stone compiled their list it was not done by a single critic and the methodologies along with their criterion were clear.
That particular critic who dubbed Blackout that title is clearly a Britney stan. As someone else mentioned it is evident in many other articles he writes.
I love Blackout, & I see how it inspired some of today's producers, but not to the degree some of her stans say it did. It may have influenced them but I don't think it 180'd the charts.

But what about The Times? The Guardian? It was listed way higher than any of the other stars people stan for albums.
Oh FFS, blackout is not all that you brit stans make it out to be. Face the fact that in the public it is not known at all, and it didn't influence music at all. Stop hyping it.
I didn't say any of these albums would be more remembered than Blackout. I'm not creating conflict. But we don't know for sure. I think it's ridiculous when people make BTW look like a flop when it's numbers are still totally eclipsing almost everyone but ADELE. And single-wise, only ADELE, Katy & Rihanna have had a bigger year in the pop field.
I only use MTN, TEOG, BM, EC & HML. Sometimes GH for its ****tiness and Americano for its Latin vibe. The rest
TEOG and Americano are the only ones I see being slightly remembered in a decade but not in the way BR or PF will be remembered. The production on most of the songs was too scattered to produce hits of that calibre.

And the rest of magazines that praise the album and aknowledge its influence are also Britney stans. Oh.
