Album Review:
One of the most anticipated comebacks for this year is the release of the new record of R&B diva Beyonce. Her fourth studio album, simply entitled 4 is filled with consistent R&B tunes that will surely be loved by her loyal fans. Honestly, I’m not yet done with the epicness of the previous era that’s why I did not quite enjoy this era. Nonetheless, Beyonce did not fail me in bringing up a great album with great tracks. 4 opens up with the sexy and sultry ballad for ‘1+1’, where Beyonce sings wholeheartedly using Mathematical terms for comparison. ‘I Care’ is another powerful R&B track on which it talks about being through ache and the obsession that come from being the one left in love. She sings ‘I Miss You’ on the next tracks where it is about ruminating over her relationship with her ex-love while one she expresses no regrets on ‘Best Thing I Never Had’, one of the standout R&B tracks of the album. Feel good vibe ‘Party’is a grower track of the album, it took me sometime to like it but now I love hearing this one when it is playing on the radios. The catchy ‘Rather Die Young’ is about being in love with a bad boy who "drive too fast", and "smoke too much", nevertheless, she considers him to be her James Dean and further adds that he makes her feel like she is seventeen while ‘Start Over’ is about expressing love for a man with whom she attempts tostart a relationship all over again. My personal favorite ‘Love On Top’ is such a simple feel good tune sampling an old tune which makes it so lovely while ‘Countdown’ took me like forever to like despite of an entertaining video. Beyonce pumps up on the high energy track for ‘End Of Time’ showing everlasting love with both ferocity and passion while the beautiful Dianne Warren penned track ‘I Was Here’ talks about leaving her legacy here on earth till her time is up. The lead single ‘Run The World (Girls)’ is another all female anthem accompanied by an amazing choreography to be remembered. Bonus tracks from the deluxe editions such as ‘Lay Up Under Me’ which is another feel good vibe track and ‘Schoolin’ Life’ should be included on the album tracks. 4 era did not do well unlike the others to be honest and maybe because the fact that she is expecting her first baby, but definitely this album is worth the listen and a must have in anyone’s collection.

Album Review:
Irish band The Script made it to my list thanks to ‘Science & Faith’. I never taught that I will be a fan of their music after hearing their previous releases which are radio hits here in our country. Science & Faith is definitely a great album to listen; much of the songs talks about love and break-ups which many people can relate to. The Script narrates each story of the tracks in a unique way if you try to analyze the lyrics. ‘You Won't Feel a Thing’ is about being going through thicks and thins accompanied by heroic chivalry. ‘For The First Time’ is the tale of a couple who reignite their relationship after they both find themselves unemployed while the standout track ‘Nothing’ talks about the pain of being left behind by your girl which leads to drunkenness and desperation. Another favorite of mine, the title track ‘Science & Faith’ is a classic love song that uses scientific metaphor talking about love. The catchy ‘If You Ever Come Back’ has a nice chorus, talks about departure and still, the guy is prepared on the day her girl will come back. Other heartfelt tracks include ‘Long Gone And Moved On’ where lead singer Danny O'Donoghue is asking how and where to start even though the girl has already been gone and ‘Dead Man Walking’ is a declaration of being broken and already gone as there is no more love left. ‘This=Love’ is an uplifting track of the album as it explains that love is the reason about the things we do despite the pain and hurt. ‘Walk Away’ is a story about a girl who loves an undeserving guy but still she choose to stay with him while the albums final cut ‘Exit Wounds’ expresses pain having this kind of wounds. Science & Faith proved that The Script can match their previous records success and judging from their songs, anyone can relate to the story being narrated of them. I expect them to release more long lasting singles in the future.

Album Review:
Once again, Rihanna is here on my list this time with her previous album Loud. Well, I decided to include this album once again in my list for this year since I listen to this album several times and I never got tired of it. Loud manage to end up as high as #2 last year on my list since this album is filled with irresistible dance and mellow R&B tracks accompanied by Rihanna’s irresistible vocals. The album starter ‘S&M’ sets the mood on fire where Rihanna sings about sticks and stones would hurt her but chances and whips excites her. I definitely loved this track even more with the help of Britney Spears being featured on the track making a #1 hit. Her collaboratin with Drake, another #1 for What’s My Name? is another good tune on the album which contains that old school Rihanna sound. The final single ‘Cheers (Drink To That) is a perfect weekend party track which samples Avril Lavigne’s ‘With You’. The lead single and worldwide hit last year ‘Only Girl (In The World)’ is one of the standout track which is so catchy and irresistible at the same time.; Rihanna hypnotizes you to dance with this one. The beautiful ‘California King Bed’ is simply sweet and a perfect R&B song despite of it underperforming in the Billboard Hot 100. ‘Man Down’ is an underrated track and to be honest not my favorite Rihanna song. This shouldn’t be released as a single. The album ends with the sequel track for ‘Love The Way You Lie (Part II)’ as Rihanna takes on the track this time as Eminem is the featured artist. Loud definitely started 2011 right and that’s why I still included this one. I loved the scarlett-haired Rihanna and I will remember this album’s success in the future.
