For a while when his songs were posted they would get removed from YouTube or the video's audio would be removed. I remember looking up Mariah's version of The Beautiful Ones and all the videos were muted. Same for Vanity 6's Nasty Girl.
But there was also a time when YouTube went on a video muting rampage for copyrighted music (all my favourite Charmed music videos ) so maybe that has more to do with YouTube than it does Prince.

I hope Kelly is grateful for having gotten a ride on her coattails. I know people (including myself) have said that it was selfish of Beyonce & Co. to dump the other girls and neglect their careers, but it's pretty obvious that she wouldn't have needed them to launch a career on her own. Now Kelly seems like a doormat, always there to cheer Bey on, gushing over how amazing she is in any interview. But that's right.

Eh. Shontelle has found some kind of niche with "Impossible." It could work, and it's certainly not something that Rihanna could pull off (imo). I think her career has potential, and she's definitely in a better position than Kelly.
