^. Also, there is no reason why she has to alienate her heterosexual fanbase and sacrifice "glamour" to be a gay rights advocate. To me, that just seems a bit counteractive. Shunning the straight community to favor the gay community is insensitive and hypocritical, especially when she owes probably the greater part of her success to heterosexuals. She's more likely to segregate the two communities than bring them together.
