I think Cheerleader can overtake Thinking Out Loud, at the least come very close.

It's getting 1.75M streams daily (globally) just behind TOL by about 100M and is JUST warming up in US. It's definitely gonna start getting 2M per day at one point which is nearly 15M per week. It's coming quick.

It's hitting 300M in a month or so, and is still gonna have another month of being hot during Summer, let alone being relevant throughout 2015.

Question: Some users here can view Spotify charts beyond the Top 50 and even beyond Top 100..How is that so? Any way to view the list?

I'm not sure that's the case anymore.

Before Spotify updated in April, it displayed the top 100 songs without play counts. Post-update, the client now shows the top 50 with play counts.

You're right that in the immediate aftermath of the update, some members were claiming that they could still see the top 100. However, my hypothesis is that the update was slowly rolled out over several days/around a week and now everyone has updated and sees the same chart.

If anyone can see beyond the top 50, let me know.

I actually still have the tab that allows me to view the Top 100, but it hasn't updated in over a month. Spotify probably figured that most people switched to the new version, so there was no point updating it anymore.

It also had an Albums Chart, which I really miss because I don't think there's anything like that in the new version.

I didn't know that people had avoided the update. It automatically occurred for me.

I avoided the update remember, then after my charts quit updating in mid March I was left with no choice but to install the new version of Spotify. For a while I was still able to see the Top 200 with the number of plays, daily and weekly, for a wide range of countries, singles and albums, long after everyone was reduced to a Top 50. And my charts always updated everyday too.

In other words, the older Spotify charts had every possible benefit imaginable over the newer version of Spotify, and no one with Spotify gives a f--- about the fact they f---ed up what was already good, and won't do s--- to fix it. Yeah, that pisses me off, and I wrote them, so I know first hand how low of a priority this is for them.

It's timely that we are talking about the update, because a small blue banner popped up on my Spotify client when I opened it just now to fetch the update saying that there's a new version of Spotify available.

Obviously, this could just be to fix some bugs and the charts will likely be completely unaffected.

Anyways, I'm working on today's update right now.
