Should I update for Honeymoon or do people still want to write reviews for that?

Justin could've been a bit higher
Miley should have gotten somewhere around a K-Fedesque score.
Also, I'd be interested in Honeymoon, but don't think I'll be able to do it until tomorrow at the earliest, I really haven't been able to sit down and get on here much this week but should be able sometime tomorrow.

Honeymoon - Lana Del Rey
Lana Del Rey's 3rd LP, Honeymoon, brings us to the conclusion that the singer's lack of personality, lousy vocals and overall terrible delivery of an album are the only things about her that are seeing an upward trend.
Three songs into the album and it already drags on into this long, boring, messy piece of work that just feels rushed and uninspiring. It follows the same vein as her previous efforts, Born To Die and Ultraviolence and all three albums just sound like one continuous song which means there's definitely no versatility coming from her. The lyrics are also classic Lana Del Rey, which isn't necessarily good. Del Rey's lyrics are almost like copy-pastes of Tumblr text posts and it's getting old at this point.
Aside from the bad lyrics, the melodies are also boring enough to put you straight to sleep. The experience listening to this album is unique in the sense that the listener has to listen to the album by bits and pieces before they go straight to bed. I sometimes found myself wondering if I was listening to an actual album or elevator music, which at this point is more entertaining than "Honeymoon".
Another off-putting aspect about this LP are the vocals and the production. While we all know Lana is not one of the strongest vocalists alive, never would I think someone could sound so bad in the studio. Her voice has a uniqueness to it that is not even good or edgy, but feels rough and bland. And not only that, and I don't know if this was the effect she was going for, but the album sounds like it was recorded with a Nokia at a garage.
If it wasn't evident that Lana Del Rey was losing her touch (if she ever had one) when she released Ultraviolence, now we know there really is no hope. Minimal to zero effort was put into this album. Everything just sounds boring, dated, confusing and plain bad.
Score: 10/100

Honeymoon
High by the Beach gave me a lot of hope for the album. I've always loved Lana's material but unfortunately, Honeymoon didn't quite hit the spot with me. Though, I guess that's to be expected when with each successive era she's exploring a new sound and a new aesthetic.
That being said, there are some gems on the album. High By The Beach remains a brilliant track which somehow seems like a throwback to Born to Die, but then also sounds distinctly itself. Furthermore, Music To Watch boys to is also a masterpiece and a track that I will definitely carry with me into the future.
All in all, this album wasn't really for me, which was a shame, as I was looking forward to it the most out of all the releases coming this year. However, it's still a solid effort and it's nice to see others enjoying it at much as I was hoping to be able to.

That's not trolling? It's a very well written review to me, then if you're one of those stans who think she does real art when in actual fact her music is mostly boring and vocally flat good for you.

That isn't a fact honey, that's your opinion.
And that user is known for being obsessed with Lana and trolling her threads. But if taking their time to write that review makes them feel better about the great reviews Honeymoon is getting from real critics, I guess that's a cute coping strategy.

Well? Real critics gave Born This Way a 0, so I don't see the problem with having opinions

Thanks for knocking some sense into them, KillingYourCareer.
I really wasn't trolling and tried to actually make valid points. If her stans disagree then that's another thing, but other reviews that were clearly trolling have been counted.

Lana Del Rey - Honeymoon
Whether you like her or not, Lana Del Rey is ,without a doubt, one of biggest stars of this decade. Ever since she dropped her debut single "Video Games" in 2011, Del Rey has proved to be a polarizing and fascinating talent. Her critics have cross-examined her, asking "is she real or a concept" along with many allegations of plastic surgery. But most have been unable to deny the quality of her music, as evidenced by the huge amount of acclaim and success she has received as well as her influence: extending from unsuccessful talent show alumni (Melony Martinez) to global pop superstars (Taylor Swift.)
On Honeymoon, Del Rey's third major-label LP, she sounds more self-assured than ever. The lead songwriter and producer of all the original songs on the album, she is completely in control of her career and knows exactly what she is doing. The new album contains nods to her previous records: The bleak "God Knows I Tried" has shades of Ultraviolence while "Art Deco" would sound right at home on Paradise. Overall, the album sounds like a more cinematic and realized Born To Die: It's hard to imagine the outstanding six-minute epic "The Blackest Day" on Born to Die, likewise, pleasant-if-throwaway songs like "Diet Mountain Dew" and "Radio" would sound out of place on Honeymoon. On this record, Del Rey shows that she has made artistic growth without straying too far from the music that made her popular.
As with Del Rey's other albums, there is enough variety despite the album being cohesive, Unless you have a hearing problem or something, you should easily be able to differentiate between songs. A 'muddy trap' section in the middle of the record speeds up the tempo slightly with "Freak" and "Art Deco" being obvious future singles due to their entrancing choruses.
The only real complaint I have with the album is some of the lyrics. For example, the otherwise outstanding "Freak" is tarnished by some lazy writing in the second verse. Thankfully, Del Rey's vocals are better than ever, her siren like take on "Religion" turns the bland statement: "Hallelujah, I need your love" into something powerful and haunting. Likewise, on the hopeless dirge of "The Blackest Dey" she exclaims "in all the wrong places / oh my God!' as though her misery is the most beautiful thing in the world.
On the other hand, "Terrence Loves You" and "God Knows I Tried" contain some excellent songwriting. But it is the album highlight "Swan Song", that is the best written. Del Rey paints beautiful imagery ('Brushing up from the water where the ice meets') and invites someone to ignore their responsibilities and "leave the world for the ones who change everything'. The coda finds Del Rey asking "why work so hard when you could just be free?" And it's easy for her to say: she makes music sounds so effortless and simple, she is doing something that she loves.
Reccomended: "Terrence Loves You"; "Freak"; "The Blackest Day"; "Swan Song"
