The next X-Men movie will be a reboot. This time, I hope the relationship between Fox and Marvel has already improved. I'm still holding out hope that the two can work out a deal to merge their comic book universes.

Singer's comment about Scott coming to the mansion and being blind until he gets the glasses... I'm excited because I didn't think much about that side of things. Apocalypse will have to be risen and recruit his horsemen and then start his messiness, which gives at least the first third of the movie to cut back to New York and the X-Mansion where we see the young guys in their day-to-day life.

We literally haven't had any normal X-Mansion stuff in a decade, back in The Last Stand, not counting the future scene where Wolverine wakes up in DOFP. They sort of had it in First Class but they were just starting to make the school then.

It'll make it so much more epic when Apocalypse blows it up

Don't hold your breath. Disney are trying to strangle X-Men, why would Fox be willing to share the profits of one of their biggest franchises after that?!

The next team X-Men movie might not be a reboot. Almost all the stars sign contracts with a +2 deal.

Alexandra Shipp - Storm (likely becomes an X-Man at the end of Apocalypse)

I don't know about Nick Hoult, but if he goes recasting Beast as a full-time blue character shouldn't be too hard. Add in a couple of new X-Men, maybe Deadpool too, and a couple of worthwhile villains and there's EASILY plenty more to do with the current crop.

I would agree that they shouldn't re-do it but it never really got a chance in X3 it was a minor plot and just served the action mostly and gave almost zero dialogue. It definitely deserves a singer directed film.

To capitalize on the Memorial Day Weekend. Captain America is releasing in May also so they want enough space for X to be able to dominate.
