I was thinking of what song could have a video with Taylor on a train. While its most likely a new song, maybe it's DBT, she couldve changed the lyrics to have the girl run away to go to LA to find him
I saw someone's tweet earlier that said Kevin Hart, the comedian, is in the music video and that it is "funny" and involves "slamming doors," or something along those lines.
So all speculation on a DBT-like music video or something sad are most likely wrong based on rumors and speculation.
If we're realistic, Taylor isn't going to release an old material for the lead single because she's written loads for LP4.
Agreed. I think that Sparks Fly was the exception and a lot of fans are using that as a basis for her potentially putting another unreleased song on there. I'm fairly confident she wouldn't do that. She writes A LOT of stuff, and that's new stuff that I haven't heard and want too- as much as I love some of the unreleased stuff we have, I'm okay with it not being on the CD because I want to her the new material that she's excited about/believes in.

And the old songs wouldn't be much of a "musical departure". I would actually call the unreleased songs as far as "generic" because it won't show her musical growth as an artist, especially if the lyrics haven't changed as much.
Wasn't there a rumor that 2 previously unreleased tracks would be redone for LP4?
Let's not pretend country radio wouldn't jizz all over DBT
I never heard those rumors. I guess it's a possibility but I really doubt it. I just can't see it being true. I love DBT though, but I'm hoping Taylor can deliver even better material without resorting to five year old songs.
