true. I love the power of chaos PC games from 2004 (I have all 3 versions) because the final one only has 770 cards and it's majorly just regular non-OP cards.

So they had told us that a new archetype based on an American fairy tale was going to be created around this time... there were only 2 options everyone thought.. Wizard of Oz and Star Wars.. seems like Star Wars won.

The modified ones are ok but they go against the purpose of the games for me. I used them for a while, but they started to add more and more overpowered cards and that kinda offset the original 771 cards in the game. Also sometimes they were a biT glitchy with some effects.

The Marik one I have doesn't have much changes other than the fact that you play against Marik(who is a much harder opponent than Joey who is the easiest of all of them) and it has the god cards(without special abilities).

Can't remember which one I had, but I downloaded basically all of them once upon a time.

Kaiba was definitely the hardest of the three. I would say Yugi is only hard(ish) because you only have 150 cards (most of the best ones, he will also use). Joey is so-so. There are some duels where he's completely easy, and some duels where he's actually way harder than Yugi; normally due to some kinda of Rocket Warrior / Fairy Box mess.

The strongest monster was Blue-Eyes, followed by Gaia (Dragon Champion) and then Dark Magician / Summoned Skull. And the strongest spells and traps were Raigeki and Mirror Force, and after that there was only like Trap Hole, Fissure or Change of Heart. It was very even.

Yeah I agree, what made Joey so easy for me was the he relied on cards that leave things to chance(like his dice cards) which made him very vulnerable and he rarely used trap cards.

I kinda wish they made another official version with more cards and in which you could choose your opponet, because I really love the template of that game.

his chance cards were all well and good but the Fairy Box was the most irritating. Installing the 3 on my new pc

And yeah. I'd love them to remake it in HD for a nice throwback. Make it like 1000 cards and add Pegasus in. And be able to battle any of the 4. That's something that annoys me, is only having Dark Magician Girl in the Joey version so I can only use her in battles against him. There's no backwards compatibility.

It has the Glass that lets you see the AR monster (Like Google Glasses) and a microphone to communicate with other people.







You CAN'T duel if you don't have one.
Everyone had to use them in Zexal cuz Solid Vision was discontinued in their city/dimension/age.
However some duelists also used contact lens as D-Gazers, so whenever they would duel, their eye would turn red (the contact lens would activate and shine in red). With a tattoo around the eye to show that is has been activated.
Well actually it's magic, not contact lenses haha.
