Get rid of that ape it's terrible. Try to catch a sewaddle its final evo is awesome! You could also consider catching a blitzle for your electric type for the meantime then ditch it for a tynamo or joltik from the chargestone cave. For your firetype darumaka is available at deserresort and at the route after castelia city. Sigilyph is an amazing psychic pokemon too. Be sure to catch a lillipup too. It's final evo is a solid normal type pokemon with amazing attck stat.

It's basically manipulating the game's pseudo-random number generator so you get the result you want; you can get perfect IVs, specific natures, shiny Pokemon, etc. I never really got the hang of it.
Here's a guide if you want to give it a shot.

If you play on a flashcard or Emulator, you can edit everything you want, items, Pokémon, stats, gender etc.
Every Pokémon game uses another Pokesav, just google it and you'll find the right one. You do need a .sav file from your Pokémon game though.

Lol,it's easy to use,example: you can have vaporeon with flame body ability,blaze burn move,make it shiny,etc
