It's so nice have that subtlety back, imo that's what BTW lacked a lot of. It served BTW well, since it was supposed to be over-the-top and campy, but I still missed the more clever bits. I mean, to this day I still marvel at how she took a song about her fricken cell phone ringing in the club (which Gaga herself already says represents more, but whatever) and turned it into an epic video exploring Americana and consumerism
