We need Eisenhoweran/Rockefeller Republicanism to return. Republicans need to cut off the Evangelical block, end social conservatism, and do whatever it takes to work together. They're refusing to get anything accompanied and not listening to a word of compromise.

Liberal presidents are the only people in the last 40 years who've balanced a budget. Look it up. There is no excuse to be this uninformed. Geesh! This is why Bill Mather thinks Americans are stupid. Because they are stupid and your post is proof.
Conservatives don't believe in math that's why no conservative president or self-proclaimed fiscal conservative president has ever balanced a budget in the last 40 years.
Conservatives spend way too much money doing the things they want to do but then when the American people need things they complain we can't afford it when democrats are in power.
Then the people (like Donald Trump and conservatives at large) who complain the most about other people paying their fair share, don't actually pay their fair share....they sit and complain about the taxes they don't even pay while they have their hand out for that liberal money.
Look at the last republican president and the nominees
- Donald Trump (bankrupted real estate transactions for a living)
- Mitt Romney (bankrupted businesses for a living)
- George Bush (bankrupted America for a living)
People screaming the loudest about tax and spend democrats don't actually balance budgets. Just irresponsible projecting onto others their own personal deficiencies. Self proclaimed fiscal conservatives in congress cost America billions in extra interest payments by not paying the bills when they were due twice.
