God yes. It does feel restricted and it is annoying there's no voice chat but if anything it makes it more of a challenge. The new ranked battles added today elevate it as well and we're still yet to see a lot of updates that will just add more stuff. Can't recommend enough

Where have you been ordering from?

You only really need one Splatoon Amiibo.
They all have the same function and unlock the same thing, the only thing that's different is the gender.


I pre-ordered from Toys R Us and Walmart.

No! Each Amiibo unlocks different things and have different missions.

With the squid amiibo it's all about the powerful kraken and levels with limited ink. Inkling Boy is all about the roller i think and Girl is all about the sniper.

With sqid you unlock futuristic looking gear (kinda like a cyborg), with the girl a school uniform and with the boy a samurai kinda costume.
Also with each Amiibo you can unlock different mini games

The squid one gives you unlimited kraken form. It's so much fun
