I can't at people "losing hype" cuz the movie has something to do with Arc-V's plot... like wtf? Yu-Gi-Oh! is Yu-Gi-Oh!
DM, GX, 5D's, Arc-V even Zexal are the same damn series... of course the movie will revolve around them.

Are you surprised though? Most of them stopped after the original series aired. So it's like the only series that exists.

Seriously, I kind of get the nostalgia factor, but people didn't even watch the other series so they can't really judge them, mostly cuz if they watch an episode of 5D's or Arc-V they will have their nostalgia glasses that will make them think that they "suck", when they both are way better than DM.

They need to pay real attention.

I mean Arc V is shaphing up to be the best and most solid Yugioh series so the movie being related to it is great.

Of course not. I'll probably watch it when the dubbed version is posted like I did with the last one. Seeing a movie with Kaiba in it, and knowing it's not just going to be a traditional Yugi v Kaiba battle is disappointing though.

At least in Pokemon, I love Gen2 and Gen6 too tho

I haven't watched the anime since like ep21 of GX and have no intention too. I hate how they made things too complicated (same with Pokemon's stealth rock / spikes / toxic spikes mess). Even though Dark Magician of Chaos and BLS: Envoy were during the original run, I don't like them either coz it was around 2004, that some OP cards were introduced. There used to be a time where actually summoning a Blue-Eyes White Dragon was a feat and meant the duel was over in the next 5 turns.
