Dark Horse' video is flawless. Y'all love to trash it a lot, but it definitely had replay value. I used to hate it, but after watching it a few times it turns out to be good and you want to watch it again. However, the same happens with every Katy video except for the one that shouldn't be named

If 1984 is a real thing I will genuinely stop stanning. Not even joking. Not only is she buying into the feud thing, but she didn't even write it. This is a new low even for her.

WAIT, I just had a theory. What if 1984 is just a melodic intro or interlude and Katy doesn't actually lend any vocals to it? With chanting or something from the writers/producers? That would kind of make sense as to why it would technically be a Katy Perry song, but she didn't write it. I mean, I HATE when artists have these "very personal" songs and they don't write them, and 1984 sounds like a personal song, either from a Katy point of view or a Taylor-feud point of view. Her dissing Taylor with someone else's words is just stupid. And if it's about her growing up, it'd be odd that she didn't write it either.
As a stan of songwriters, I can only PRAY that she doesn't speak on the song.

I first heard of Katy in the summer of 2008 when I visited Florida during IKAG's 7-week reign on top of the charts and I remember being impressed by how long it stayed at the top of iTunes and the bit of controversy it caused at the time.
EVERYTHING changed later that year when Hot N Cold came out and I NEEDED to know who this girl was and fell in love with her debut album and kept hoping she'd try to work again with Max & Luke for her follow-up album.
