I'm just saying, people are clearly interested in her, but they either a) are too afraid to admit it, b) pretend they aren't, or c) drag her because it's apparently the "cool" thing to do nowadays.

On ATRL that's certainly true. Whenever Gaga news surfaces, EVERYBODY flocks to it. That's how pop forums work.

However, Gaga has largely disappeared from general public culture. I loathe when people claim that the GP "hates" Gaga, because that simply isn't true. Her management (and most of her music) just hasn't allowed her to flourish as she did 2-3 years ago.

The ARTPOP performance was WONDERFUL, but this was still a horrible promo spot. Everybody knows Gaga can perform, but she needed to do something provocative / appealing enough for consumers to purchase ARTPOP. While rich in quality, this performance did nothing to draw in new consumers.

Noooo just a promo performance for her remaking the era and for her upcoming tour. The next single should be out before April. At least it better. I'd be so sad if Artpop became her Lotus and we got a one music video era.

Yupp.

She probably made the right decision. Late night is good for performing a single that's already out, not for debuting something out of nowhere. If she feels she still needs a tad more time to choose the single, let her have it tbh. The album isn't going anywhere, and she wants to continue the ARTPOP era for awhile still. She seems to be very content with taking her time and making sure everything is perfect - this was just a nice performance to remind people that she has an album out, and she pulled it offer perfectly I think.

I think so too. The commercialness of all of this never really made me pressed - it was just upsetting to see her depressed and unhappy with her album. Now that things have picked up and she is feeling fresh and herself again, I don't care if she releases six more singles and they all flop - as long as she keeps being her and does flawless performances and music videos.

I can't @ people thinking ARTPOP would ever be a single. She clearly just performed it to promote her tour and album? Not everything is done to promote a single. It would've been stupid to perform the next single anyways, it would've been too early.

I disagree 100%. And if she did something provocative it would've repelled people.
