I actually think it would if she got pregnant and gave birth between FC and DOFP. The age thing is messy tho, if she had him before DOFP then Charles would know.
obviously she didn't since he is Azazel's son. she had sex with Azazel after joining Magneto and then left when she got pregnant and Azazel wasn't around, which explains his absence in DOFP and why she suddenly became so cold and uncaring.

It's weird move for both companies because they will cannibalise each other. Then again the event movies calendar is getting so tight, those studios have to snatch dates 3 years in advance
