tbh i don't even find it that sad that nina left? i mean her story arc was boring for a while now (especially this season) and she's mostly become a side character. it's like neither her nor damon consisted as characters anymore, only as an item and i hate when they do that

omg that's literally the same thing i did. i stopped after episode 3 because i was like meh but then i finished all the other shows and i was like 'whatever let's watch it' and that way i thought it was much more entertaining.
i think most shows are more enjoyable that way because stretching a season over several months just drags on and on and you forget what happened at the beginning. that's why i now mostly binge-watch.
apperently it's going to mostly focus on stefan + damon. damon will lose his **** over elena being gone ( ) and bonnie is trying to help him or whatever but he goes back to his old ways and is ****ing **** up.
