Soon after that, Leck got another call from one of Clarkson's people. Leck was told the choir would do the "oohs" and "aahs" in the first half of the song, and, starting with "and the rockets' red glare," sing along to the second half. He was also told to write the music to accompany the song.
Leck and his accompanist cooked up a four-part treble arrangement and sent it to Clarkson's team. After a few tweaks to fit Clarkson's singing style, they were set to go -- once they learned the actual song, of course.
This will be make it or break it for Madonna not Kelly :P

@kelly_clarkson Literally left my wardrobe at the hotel in Louisiana and my tour manager had to run back and get it. Now we're on the plane headed for the Super Bowl but that was a close one! I'm not sure if I could have pulled off spanx and heels while singing the anthem
