Well, right now, I'm in the Tourism board on
Rosarito Beach (my city), is just 30 mins far from US.
Well, I studied Marketing, that's where I learned how to
create reliable musical charts. Haha.

I decided to do it because the person
that try to run it was a mess, so I started it all
over again. Then I spoke with most of the Mods and
they agreed, and yeap, it was born.

I capture all the data on some programs.. SPSS and Excell.
I track each one of the countdowns on ATRL, thore are
on "Your Top Ten". That counts as preferences.
Then I track the last.fm of ATRL, there are over 320 ATRLers there,
good enough to take a sample of the population (Marketing theories )
So that counts as Streaming data, 100% reliable.
Then How in my job I also lurk over here , I always know what
artist are the most popular each day on ATRL, that counts as
popularity. Then each thursday I track each Billboard chart of
different countries to see what are people on other places
currently listening to, because ATRL is worldwide, depending on
how many people each country has I make a sample and from there
I calculate real sales and airplay.
Then I merge all the data and vualá!, The chart is created with all
the positions.
