Is it commonplace for the grammy's to nominate an album with only 8 tracks, basicall an EP for Album of the Year? I guess i never really considered her being truly qualified (though she was nominated) because it just didn't seem like an odd re-release / EP belonged in such a category, and that the nomination was made to attach her name to the category for ratings..... ironic, considering i'm not cynical at all...
But this thread has me rethinking things. Obviously, quality wise she should be in the forefront and when you take into account that they
might consider her "overdue" for last years lookover, she could gain the
"this is for your entire carrer" vote as well.....This is the first time i've considerd her being a formidable opponent for AOTY
